I love trying new beauty products! I have SO much makeup, lotion and body butter, perfume, hair product... you name it, I have it. My two year old already knows how to use a beauty blender from watching mama get ready in the morning. I can only imagine how many products we will have in our house once this little girl gets older (not that she needs them!). I have a good mix of name brand products and drug store products. It doesn't matter to me where I buy the items as long as I love the product. Here are a few of my current (non-makeup) favorites that are in my beauty routine. Most of these items can be found online but I will also list the store where I purchased them.
Philosophy Fresh Cream Fragrance Spray. OMG. This is my favorite spray! It smells so good, you will want to eat it! It is a very sweet scent. I love perfumes and sprays that smell very warm and have hints of vanilla just like this one. If you are also into the warmer scents, you will love this. I bought this product at Ulta.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream. This is my current favorite night time cream. I lather it on my face every night before bed. I love going to bed with a super hydrated face, and this product does just that. The ingredients are also very minimal which is always a plus! It looks similar to Vaseline when in the jar but once you rub it between your fingers, it turns to an oil-like consistency. Spread it all over your face and wake up with skin that feels extra hydrated! You can buy this product at Target.
L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray. This is a drug store find- yay! I love this hairspray because it has really great hold but doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or full of hairspray. My hair still feels like my actual hair when I wear this. I hate when hairspray makes my hair stiff. I like the curls to hold but my hair to still be free to move around. I spray it in my hair in the morning after it's curled, and my curls hold all day. I purchase this product at CVS.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil. You guys- this is like the body butter of all body butters. I LOVE her ultra hydrating body butters. They make my skin feel so soft, and I feel like my skin radiates when I wear her products. This particular whipped Argan oil is her illuminizing body butter. The actual butter is a golden color and has a shimmer. It gives my skin a beautiful healthy glow. I added a picture of me wearing the butter below! I purchase this product online.
Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Tapioca Dry Shampoo. This product (another drug store find) is a lifesaver for toddler mamas like myself. My hair is naturally very curly. So when I do decide to blow it out, it takes a lot of time and effort (which I don't always have). Dry shampoo saves me so much time! I can make my blow dry last a few extra days. And the reason I love this dry shampoo so much is it's warm sugar scent! I told you above that I love warm, vanilla scents. So of course I love how this product makes my hair smell. It also really works. I spray it into the roots of my hair, rub it in with my fingers, and then style my hair. It's so easy and smells so good. I purchase this product at CVS.
