If you're anything like me, you are always interested in what makeup products other people use. I love learning about new products and hearing what other women enjoy wearing. So, I decided to give you a look into my makeup bag. I like to change things up, so some products I've used forever and some are newer to me. But, everything I share in this blog post is what I currently wear on a daily basis (if I decide to do my makeup that day!).  Some products are cheaper and purchased at a drug store and some were a little more pricey. I have a good mix of everything! I am by no means a makeup artist, but I do know a good one who has taught me some things :) Here is my current makeup routine:

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Illuminating and Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. I have been loving these two products lately. I mix a pea size amount of both on my fingertips and apply over my moisturizer.  When my skin is dry, these give me a little extra hydration and provide a glow. If I'm doing my makeup that day, I apply my makeup over top of these products starting with my foundation. If I'm not doing a full face of makeup, I love to apply these over my moisturizer for a hydrated glow. Plus, they both contain SPF which is great! I use the color Bare Radiance for the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and the color Vanilla for the Bare Minerals complexion rescue.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation. This is a drug store find that my sister recommended. I use the color 120 Classic Ivory during the winter months. During the Summer when my skin has a little more color, I use 220 Natural Beige. I apply the foundation with a beauty blender (Real Techniques is my favorite beauty blender brand) over top the tinted moisturizer and complexion rescue shown above. I also dab a little on my fingertips and rub onto my eyelids (before any eye shadow is on my eyes). This helps set my eye shadow and prevents the shadow from getting oily or creasing. The foundation is the perfect coverage for me. It's not too light and not too thick but still covers imperfections.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I apply this setting powder over my foundation. I've found that my bronzer goes on a lot smoother when I use this. It keeps my foundation looking fresh all day. When I don't use the setting powder, I find my foundation gets blotchy and oily throughout the day.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Another drug store purchase! I apply this under my eyes, and it helps me look more awake and refreshed. I use the color light pale and apply it with a small beauty blender. I then set this concealer with more Laura Mercier setting powder.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer.  I first tried this a few months back when my skin was reacting to a makeup product I was using. My dermatologist recommended the Physicians Formula brand because the products are hypoallergenic. I would bounce between this bronzer and the MAC Give Me Sun bronzer which I also love. However, my almost 3 year old loves to put on mama's makeup and smashed my entire MAC bronzer on the bathroom floor. So, I have been using this Physicians Formula bronzer in the color Bronzer.  I really like it, and it smells like coconut sun tan lotion, so you can't go wrong with it!

Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Stick. I use this creamy stick in the color Swish on my cheeks. I use this instead of a powder blush because it's dewey and hydrating. I dab a little on my fingertip and then lightly pat it onto my cheeks. I then use a small brush to blend.  A little goes a long way with this stick, so be sure to start by applying a small amount. If you want more color on your cheeks, slowly add a little more and build to the color you want!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit. I love this kit! It includes four different highlighters. I apply the color Summer to brighten my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. You can also use the highlighters on your eyelids, browbones, and inner corner of your eyes. With four different shades, this kit can be used so many different ways.

The Jessie Palette by Jessie James Decker. This is the eye shadow palette I've been loving lately. It includes four shimmer shadows and four matte shadows. They are the perfect colors for a smoky eye. I use the color Bambi Eyes for the crease of my eyes and also underneath my eyes. The color Golden Girl is really pretty on the eye lid.  The color Here Kitty Kitty is a great color to put on your browbones and on the inner corner of your eyes. As for my eyebrows, I just use a dark brown eye shadow from whatever palette I have available and fill them in using a small brush.

Butter Londer Glazen Eye Gloss. This eye shadow is amazing. It gives your eyelids a wet and shiny look but dries like a powder and lasts all day long. My favorite is the color Frosted. I apply a small amount to my eyelids with my fingertip. This is another product where a little goes a long way.

Benefit Cosmetics Ready, Set, Brow! Gel. I love using a brow setting gel. It keeps my eyebrows in the same spot all day long! I've tried setting gels in the past that left my eyebrows looking white and flaky. Yuck! I tried this gel years ago and have used it ever since. The gel is clear and dries invisible.

MAC Eye Kohl Eyeliner. This is my favorite eyeliner pencil! I use the color Teddy which is a bronze color with a pearl finish. I apply it to my top lid only. I did not include a picture of this because my pencil is just a little nub! I obviously use it so much and am in need of a new one!

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. I have used this mascara for years now. I've tried all kinds of mascaras from drug store to brand name, and I always come back to this one. It makes my lashes look so full. I've actually gotten asked many times if I wear fake eyelashes when wearing this product! I buy the color black.

Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner. I love a nude lip liner. This is a twist up cream liner which I love (you don't have to ever worry about sharpening it!). I never used to wear lip liner until I discovered how much bigger and fuller it can make my lips look! I use the shade Innocent. I slightly over-line my lips to give them a nice plump look.

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish. This lip-plumping lip gloss is life. It leaves your lips with a tingly, shimmer finish. It's a sheer gloss with long lasting shine. I have been using the color April lately, but I also have Kristen and Kimberly in my purse and use them sometimes as well.

This may seem like a lot of products, but I love them all so much! It really doesn't take me more than 20 minutes to apply them all. I hope you give them a try and love them too!
